Join dynamic duo Beatrix*Jar for a one of a kind audio experience. The duo invites you to participate in an Audio Playground – where you can make music on vintage electronics instruments and have sonic conversations with the community. People of all sonic skill levels are invited to experiment with sound minus the pressure of a formal musical outcome.

Jacob Aaron Roske is a professional artist based in Minneapolis. He works in tandem with his wife Bianca Janine Pettis, as the dynamic duo Beatrix*Jar. Since 2003 Beatrix*Jar has actively toured the country leading hands-on circuit bending workshops paired with live sound collage performances and audio playgrounds.

Bianca Janine Pettis is a Multi-Disciplinary Artist based in Minneapolis. She studied acting at the North Carolina School of the Arts Pre-Professional Acting Program and went on to receive a BA in Theatre from Antioch College and an MFA in Art from the University of Minnesota. Since 2003 she’s collaborated with her husband Jacob Aaron Roske as the dynamic duo Beatrix*Jar. Beatrix*Jar has been featured at major art museums such as the Walker Art Center, Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and the ICA in Boston.
